Past Projects
PA Watercooler
Contributor 2007-2010
I blogged here on Pennsylvania and national politics. This is from when I was more traditionally conservative and Republican, though I was still very analytically-minded and had little patience for strict ideology.
Some examples of my writing can be found here.
UNH Student Senate
2008-2011
While at UNH I served in the Student Senate, participating in different activity groups such as the Student Activity Fee Committee, Budget Committed and Judiciary Council. In 2010 I unsuccessfully ran for Student Body President.
Some coverage of my activities while in Senate can be found here and here.
Egypt Elections Independent Study
Spring 2011
In Spring of 2011, I undertook an independent study with Kirk Buckman, a lecturer in the Political Science department at UNH. I looked at different election systems used in the US and Europe, such as first past the post and proportional systems. I wrote an analytical paper looking at the then current events in Egypt within this context.
The paper has almost completely been rendered moot, but you can read it here.
