This course discusses how public policies are created and implemented in the United States. Students will learn how problems are defined and how policies designed to address those issues are created, implemented, and evaluated. Key factors, such as budgetary constraints and organizational structures, which may impact the feasibility and desirability of proposed policies will also be discussed.
